So last Monday I stopped eating Stonyfield yogurt to determine if my system cannot handle commercial cow’s yogurt yet. I had continued having uncomfortable gas, even though everything else in my diet was according to SCD guidelines. Monday and Tuesday of last week I had some of that “normal” gas. But then, it just stopped. I made some goat’s milk yogurt, and began eating that. And I am pleased to say that, since Wednesday of last week, I cannot recall any uncomfortable gas! Very cool, but sad, since Stonyfield French Vanilla was sooooooooo good and was good for my sweet tooth. 🙂
Tomorrow I’m going to buy some good organic cow’s milk, and make yogurt out of that. It could either be the cow’s milk itself, or the commercial processing of the yogurt, that gave me problems. I was okay with the taste of the goat’s milk yogurt, but like the cow’s milk better, so I’m hoping I do okay on homemade cow’s milk yogurt! I’ll let you know how it works out………
